Carrd, and also Linktree, are fine tools. They are quick and free and fits most people's needs.

My problem with it is how

That layout most people stick with. It's appalling to me. Carrd offers tools to customize it even further, but most people don't customize it further. Carrd and Linktree contain the most homegenized collection of bland ugly Web 2.0 pages under a domain.

When I look for someone's link in their bio I pray that it is either a neocities, straw.page or better yet, a custom URL. I dread the carrd/linktree link, because I know what to expect when I click on one.

Please, help make the internet a more fun place and customize your website even more. Start with strawpage, neocities, eventually making your way up to building your personal site from scratch! NOT using site builders like Wix or Squarespace.
