The kinectic energy I accumulated freefalling from Faerieland was just enough for my Rod of Dark Nova to slow
our descent and veer us eastward into into a bushy, remote area on the outskirts of Shenkuu. It was unmistakable,
the smell of huangshan pine and ginkgo, the cool air, the light fog, meant we were in the middle of its mountain
range. This wasn't my mountain, but it
felt like my mountain. Wherever there's a mountain, there's home for
Bori.
I followed a path of plum blossom trees that led me towards a moss-laden shrine. There, I found a
Ghost Aroota, whimpering and whining at me with an empty bowl
in its maw. I looked around for an owner who owned this petpet or shrine, but I couldn't hear anyone but us. I
said, I'll be back, and left for the river down from where I originally fell. I gathered some water for it in a
bowl, and, although my Rod had just begun to recharge, I depleted it once more to zap some fish out of the river
to feed the petpet.
I returned with the water and fish in handpaw, much to the petpets enjoyment. I gave it space to enjoy its meal,
when, after turned a corner, she appeared.
